What it does

Transcriptor records audio live or lets you upload an audio file, then transcribes it and inserts the text into your document. Useful for meetings, dictations and voicemails.

Where to find it

Word ▸ Logiks Copilot tab ▸ Task ▸ Transcriptor

How to use it

  1. Place the cursor where the transcript should go.
  2. Click Transcriptor.
  3. Record live or choose an audio file; the transcript is inserted, optionally post-processed by the AI.

Requirements

Requires a configured speech-to-text model (for example a local model, OpenAI Whisper, or Google Speech-to-Text). The button appears only when one is available.

Tips

  • Upload an existing recording (a meeting, a voicemail) or record live — both work.
  • Give post-processing instructions to turn a raw transcript into, say, minutes or action points.
  • Needs a configured speech-to-text model (local, Whisper, or Google).
