What it does

Copilot opens a chat where you can talk directly with your configured language model — ask questions, draft text, or think something through — without leaving Word. You can use it with selected text as context, or on its own.

Where to find it

Word ▸ Logiks Copilot tab ▸ Task ▸ Copilot

How to use it

  1. (Optional) Select text you want to discuss.
  2. Click Copilot.
  3. Type your message; the answer appears in the chat, ready to copy or use.

Tips

  • Select text first to give the chat context from your document; leave nothing selected for a general question.
  • To let the chat change the document itself, turn on Grant write access in the chat pane. Without it the chat only answers; with it, edits it proposes can be applied to your text.
  • The chat has its own model selector, so you can switch model per conversation. The model row in Settings is managed centrally and is read-only.
