What this does
Task menu ▸ Analyze ▸ Suggest Titles
Reads the text and suggests several titles. You pick one – or write your own – and decide where it goes and in which style.
The picker window
At the top it says how many suggestions there are. Below that, three settings:
- Title – the suggestion you picked. You can also overwrite it here.
- Style – which Word style the title gets. Leave formatting unchanged leaves it as it is.
- Position – Above the selection, At the start of the document, At the cursor or Replace the existing heading.
Insert puts the title into the document; To clipboard just takes it with you.
With no title picked or typed nothing happens; the add-in tells you so.
A note on "Replace the existing heading"
That position overwrites the heading that is there. If you are not sure, take To clipboard first and insert the title by hand – then you see beforehand what you would be replacing.
